The main objective of the development of Van Riebeeckshof is the provision of a high quality lifestyle for residents, and the purpose of these rules is to protect this lifestyle.

The rules have been established in terms of the Memorandum and Articles of Association of the Van Riebeeckshof Master Home Owner's Association (VRMHOA), and are binding upon all occupants of the Development.

Harmonious community living is achieved when residents use and enjoy their private property as well as the common areas, whilst giving general consideration to all residents of the Development.

In the event of annoyances, complaints, or owners contemplating erecting structures on their properties that could impact on their direct neighbours, the involved parties / neighbours should attempt to settle / consult / obtain permission on the matter between them, exercising tolerance and consideration. In instances where problems / issues cannot be resolved, the matter should be referred to the VRMHOA for arbitration / settlement / final approval.

In respect of the interpretation of these rules, the decision of the Master Home Owners Association is final and binding.

The rules are subject to change from time to time.
